We experienced some amazingly GOOD MUSIC last Saturday, therefore, we are coming back for more on June 19th here at The Barn of ART, located at Foothills Farm from 5-8 pm!
Last Saturday we had a fabulous event for our Memorial Day Neighborhood Jam!
First and foremost, the music was remarkable! The band that came together just the evening prior, played REAL MUSIC! They really synchronized! I can't speak for others, but I couldn't stay in my seat...you gotta plan to be here next time!
Below, Kaleb Awtrey, with Team Foothills & Awtrey Outdoors RV, was our front man in coordinating the musicians, assisted in all preparations in setting up for the big day, and also, you can see him below playing the drums & bongos. And boy, howdy can he play them! Kaleb has played with a variety of bands from the Atlanta area. Music has been a passion of his since he was seven years old.
Byron Dillard, from Athens, lead the band with some open jam and great cover choices. Byron also has toured with another band. He has an amazing talent and voice that commands attention! All of our musicians who were in attendance and played, were superior! They rocked it!
The day of preparation was a solid team effort and we achieved all goals. We are grateful to those who contributed hours of labor and to those who came out & enjoyed the beautiful music at this majestic outdoor setting.

JUNE 19th 5-8pm
Dress appropriately & pack possible outdoor attire for inclement weather change, bring your chair, blanket, pack food & beverages if you like. This event we are going to be grilling and offering plates of food and beverages to the public for suggested donation amounts. Team Foothills invites you to bring your dog, but ALL dogs MUST remain on their leash at all times. We are doing all that we can do to offer a safe environment for our neighbors, family, and friends, therefore, if you bring a dog, each pet owner must also do their part while at the farm. Recently out west, on public land, I saw a sign which read, "Be responsible for EACH HEARTBEAT that is in attendance with you." I liked it enough to steal it; and I add to it our farm rule: "Do No Harm!" Each being is respectful of others, always.

For those of you who would like to jam, play, or sing after our band plays their set, bring your instrument with you, polish up, and plan on jamming!
In addition, ARTISTS who create work in other mediums, and perhaps may have ART that you'd like to display and/or offer for sale, give Marla a shout for details. We welcome any hand crafted work for sale or display.
